Position

In order to enhance our Testing Team we’re looking for a Testing Engineer.

Coordinate the functional and durability tests on both Dayco and competitors components performed internally or to the customer. These functional and durability tests/measurement are performed on FEADs, on Px Hybrid Systems and on their single components (pulleys, dampers, de-couplers, tensioners, belts, clutches, electric machines).

Coordinate and develop the testing facilities, procedures and suppliers to guarantee the testing operations and to respect the activities delivery timing.

Main responsabilities of the incumbent will be:

 

  • Define the best strategy to measure and investigate the behaviour of FEAD and Px Hybrid Systems components;
  • Design and develop custom-built equipment to measure and test FEAD and Px components for internal customers who need to evaluate specific properties of the product;
  • Provide accurate, reliable and robust measurements and analysis;
  • Oversee maintenance of measuring instruments, test machines and auxiliary equipment;
  • Standardize and update existing test and measuring method to deliver more accurate and repeatable data;
  • Actively participate in natural process teams and maintain contact with other functional groups to assure coordination and accomplishment of technical and Corporate objectives.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering (or similar training);
  • Previous experience in a similar role – in structured company is preferred;
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems dynamics and vibrations;
  • Knowledge of mechanical measurements;
  • Knowledge of statistical methods;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Avaialability to travel for work.
