January 13, 2020<\/strong> \u2013 Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, is investing in improving its operations in the Mexican, Central American and Caribbean regions.<\/p>\n

Dayco is \u2014 and has always been \u2014 driven to help its customers succeed and to improve the everyday lives of end-users. For this reason, we realized the need and urgency to improve our operations in these countries by investing in launching products, technical training, sales and marketing support, and especially, logistics performance.<\/p>\n

As a major step in this new commitment, on January 15, 2020, Dayco will start a new partnership with a third party logistics (3PL) service provider in Mexico City, which will be responsible for the distribution center.<\/p>\n

Dayco has also recently promoted Marcelo Sanches, who was primarily responsible for South America, to have responsibility for all of Latin America. The marketing and logistics functions are also now included within the South American team, in order to provide greater synergy in the region, allowing the sharing of best practice and successful case studies.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy 2020, our customers in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean can expect a big change in Dayco’s working processes. What is already good will be improved and whatever needs to be changed, the required adjustments will be made. We will enhance our logistics performance, product launches, branding and marketing functions, as we want Dayco to be the main solutions partner for our customers, which is the ultimate goal of all our efforts\u00bb, commented Marcelo Sanches, Aftermarket Director – LATAM.<\/p>\n

In the coming months, the company expects to launch many new products. So, for this reason, it will have a dedicated team to provide the necessary market research and new product support. Dayco\u2019s DNA is marked by innovation and product development projects with vehicle manufacturers. We also hold numerous patents and innovative original equipment (OE) solutions that are now available to the aftermarket.<\/p>\n
